Arnica and Surgery
Arnica montana is found in the mountainous regions of europe, more particularly
in Switzerland, the northern parts
of Germany, and Siberia. Because of its mountainside habitat, it is said
to possess a native affinity to the effects of falls. Although there are
five European species, A.Montana is supposedly the only one to have medicinal
properties.
Its common names include that of Leopards Bane, Mountain Bane, and Mountain Tobacco. Flowers, leaves, and roots are all used to make the homeopathic preparation of this remedy.
Historically, homeopathy uses Arnica for the traumatic effects of falls and blows to the body.
If you only ever have one homeopathic remedy in your possession — Have Arnica. It saves suffering and lives!
